Renata de Paiva Puzzilli Comin is a PhD Candidate in Political Science at the Institute of Political Science, University of Brasília (Brazil), with a visiting research fellowship (sandwich doctorate) at the Department of Government, Uppsala University, Sweden (2026). She holds a Master’s degree in Public Policy and Management from the School of Management of Fundação Getúlio Vargas – FGV (2020), a Bachelor of Laws from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (1995) and a Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences from the University of São Paulo (1991). She also holds a postgraduate degree (Diplôme d’Études Supérieures) in Civil Law from the Université de Paris II – Panthéon-Assas, France (1998).

She is a researcher at the Flora Tristán Research Group: Representations, Conflicts, and Rights (Institute of Political Science, University of Brasília, Brazil) and at the Bureaucracy Studies Center – NEB (School of Management of Fundação Getúlio Vargas – FGV). Additionally, she serves as a mentor and coordinator of the Academic Working Group at Women in Law Mentoring Brazil (WLM/BR).
