Emeritus Chancellor’s Professor, Carleton University

 

Retired from teaching, Professor Jill Vickers remains active in research and writing, focusing on how gender interacts with nationalism and ‘race’.  Second, her research also explores how state structures, notably federal arrangements, affect efforts to promote gender equality.
